Sharechat Boost Post FAQ
1. Why do I see promoted tags on my posts, when my post is Boosted?
Boost is an ad product, where we allow promotion of your posts for a pre-decided approximate number of views. Since you are advertising a post on our platform, it needs to be declared as such.
2. Can I Boost a post with any music?
You cannot Boost posts with music added from our library or infringing rights of the right holder.
3. How many posts can boost at a single time?
In the boost flow, you can select 1-5 posts at a time
4. When I select multiple posts, how will Boosting be done?
In case you select multiple posts, the views mentioned as a part of the package will be distributed randomly across the posts selected. If you select 4 different posts and create a boost request using the 5000 views for INR 99 package, an approximate 5000 views would be randomly distributed among these 4 posts. The views or any other metric provided by us, are approximate in number and maybe more or less than the number stated.
5. How will the boost post feature work on my overall profile?
The additional views received from SC Boost do not impact the regular views distribution of other posts on the platform
6. After boosting a post will I get Milestone rewards?
The additional views received from SC Boost will not contribute to Milestone-based rewards
7. Can I Boost a post with commercial/branded content?
Posts with commercial/branded content can be boosted. However, it should follow the ShareChat Ads Policy.
8. Which posts will get rejected in the review stage?
Posts containing music from our music library or which are in violation of our Terms of Use , ShareChat Ads Policy, Community Guidelines or other geographically applicable laws, which make your posts ineligible for usage as promotional content.
9. How much time will the post take to come out of the review stage?
It can take up to 48 hours for posts to come out of the review stage and your posts to get Boosted.
10. In how much time will payment be done approximately?
It can take from 3-5 business days for the payment to reach us and get marked as successful
11. What will happen if the money is deducted but it didn’t reach us?
Sometimes, the payment gets deducted from your account but does not reach our account the payment status shows as ‘Payment Failed’. In such scenarios, the bank will revert the payment to your account in 3-5 business days
12. Can I ask for a refund if the boost is in progress?
Refund cannot be initiated after your Boost request is accepted and goes in ‘In Progress’ stage.
13. When can I request a refund?
Refund is automatically initiated, if the Boost request is rejected. Please expect a refund within 5-7 working days from the date of rejection.
